Passive RFID
RFID is used for access control etc etc.
We provide wired and wireless readers based on the very reliable and high-secure Mifare standard.
Using wireless readers new usage areas can be considered
where cables are to expensive. This can be themeparks,
museums etc etc.
Active RFID
Unlike passive RFID the Active RFID are battery powered TAGs that give many hundred meters of range.
Active RFID can be used for continously inventory of large areas s.a. warehouses. Theft supervision of e.g. building sites etc.

Develops and produces state of the art products in wireless sensors, passive RFID and active RFID.

Sensor Communications is nominated for the Swedish embedded award.
The Swedish embedded award is a national competition to find the best recently developed embedded system. This year Sensor Communications has been nominated with the product “Near Guard”.
Every year forklifts and reach stackers are injure and killing people.
Together with KONECRANES, which are industry-leading in lifting business, we have developed the Near Guard. Every worker has a radio beacon devise (Active RFID TAG) attached to the belt. This beacons are received with a receiver on the reach stacker and alerts the driver if and where a worker are.
The final winner of the embedded award will be revealed at the Embedded Conference Scandinavia fair.
